HED holds an annual photography competition to vividly illustrate higher education's work in development. Entries in the “Picturing Change” photography competition demonstrate the wide range of activities of higher education partnerships and portray the many ways that the host country institution, the U.S. institution, and their communities’ benefit from partnership activities. Current HED partners are eligible for entry, and submitted photographs are judged both on how well they address development themes and on artistic merit.
