Amalia Alberti joins HED as a short-term consultant to develop and manage a highly sophisticated competition to engage a U.S. higher education institution in the evaluation of USAID’s political party strengthening program. Dr. Alberti is a social science researcher specializing in gender issues, alternative livelihoods, impact assessments and evaluation. Since 1989, she has consulted on 34 international development projects focused mainly in Central America for USAID, Peace Corps, and other nongovernment organizations.
