USAID/Mexico Mission Director, Rodger Garner, spoke at the opening of the TIES conference. He was joined by panelists: Molly Broad, American Council on Education president, Dr. Victor Arredondo, Secretary of Education State of Veracruz, and Dr. Raul Arias Lovillo, Rector at Universidad Veracruzana.
A Glimpse of Conference Events and Presentations
At the opening session of the conference, USAID/Mexico Mission Director Rodger Garner announced five newly awarded TIES partnerships in biodiversity conservation and renewable energy.

Partners had the opportunity to hear an update on TraiNet reporting and U.S. visa and immigration regulations from a TraiNet helpdesk representative.
